Gabriela's Birthday!

Here's Gabriela at 4 weeks old - she still has the blue eyes but they are getting lighter!

Today, we celebrated Gaby's one-month mark - a very momentous occasion to be sure! Earlier this week, Gaby and mommy had their first "girls day out". They had a good time and mommy was able to get Gaby weighed during their outing...Gaby continues to amaze us all and now weighs 8 pounds, 7.5 ounces (or at least she did on Tuesday)! She gained three ounces shy of two pounds in the two weeks since her visit to the pediatrician. Further evidence that Gabriela has been growing well - she is starting to bust out of her newborn-sized clothing and even moved up a diaper size! It's reassuring to mommy, no doubt, that Gaby continues to gain weight like a champ. Now if we could just work on her ability to sleep through the night....

Gabriela has the cutest little feet!!!

Gabriela had her first "play date" last Sunday when we all went out for dinner and dessert for Aunt Galya's birthday. Her newest friend is Anna, born on December 19th, just 11 days after Gaby. They seemed to play well together - they each stayed in their own car seat but seemed to regard each other well!

The photo below was just so cute - I couldn't resist taking this one of Gaby and Alex napping after "a long day at the offfice".
